How to change the format of videos in VLC media player?

Open or Start your VLC.
Find Menu and Click on Media.
You will find “Convert/Save” if not then you can do it via pressing “cntrl + R”.
Now Load the video. (Which you want to convert) Add it in VLC media player by clicking “ADD” button.
One dialog Box will pop us it will show you process of “Converting” your media file.
Now click browse and select where you want to save the converted video.
Select the profile (Which type you want to convert your video). Select from the drop down.
The process of converting will start once you press “Start” button.

NOTE: You should wait until video or media file get converted. (Until it reaches to 100%) Otherwise that media file will be corrupted for your device. The converting speed is depending on your computer’s processor.

How to resize and shrink video with VLC media player?

Start your VLC.
Click on Menu and Click on Media.
Click on “Convert/Save” if not than you can do it via pressing “cntrl + R”.
Now Load the video. (Which you want to convert) Add it in VLC media player by clicking “ADD” button.
One dialog Box will pop us it will show you process of “Converting” your media file.
Open settings, You will find it at right side of the video. (Check Below Images for more Information)
Click on “Video Codec”.
Enter the height and width of video (Video which you want to resize).
Enter height and width proper because it will convert to that same size of ratio.
If you will enter wrong height and width than you will not get proper output of video.
Let the process begun and your video is done.

How to resize and shrink any video in VLC media player?

Start VLC.
To crop or cut video open menu bar.
Click on view menu.
Select Advance controls.
You will find some advance controls like record option, over normal tool-bar.
Now play the video which you want to convert.
Click record on start point (From where you want to cut).
Click stop once your ending point comes (till you want to cut).
The video is successfully cut or cropped.
In windows your video will be saved at My Documents/My Videos (in windows XP) library/videos (in windows vista, 7, 8 and 8.1)
